Who is eligible for commission advances?
Real Commissions is proud to serve licensed residential real estate agents who work for leading real estate companies across the U.S. Do you have two or more residential contracts signed and waiting to close? If so, then Real Commissions may be a real option for you.

What kind of contracts qualify for Real Commissions?
Commissions from the sale of single-family residential property, including town homes and condominiums, qualify for Real Commissions. Short sale, REO property, or new construction? No problem!

How do I get my Real Commission?
Getting started is as easy as 1 2 3.

  • Step 1: Register with Real Commissions.
    This one-page profile and associated documents give us the background info we need to get started. Fill out, print, and fax our Agent Information Sheet.
  • Step 2: Give us the details on your commission advance.
    This two-page form gives specific instructions about the documents needed to get your Real Commission. Fill out, print, and fax our Commission Purchase Agreement.
  • Step 3: Have your broker confirm the deal.
    Fill out and print, and fax our Brokers Notice and Acknowledgment Of Assignment.

Once we get this information, we’ll work hard to get you your Real Commission. In a hurry? Ask about same-day service.

What does this service cost?
The minimum rate for any advance is just $195 plus the cost of underwriting ($49). Your cost, our rate, is calculated on the amount of the commission we advance and the length of time until closing, so you always know you're getting the best rate possible for each transaction. No credit checks. No financial statements. Just real value, real simple.

How much of my commission can I receive?
Real Commissions offers a real advantage with no preset limits. We buy up to 100% of the net commission available, and you pay nothing up front. Our fees, plus a reserve, are simply deducted from the amount of the advance. The reserve is paid back to you if the sale closes on time, or even up to 15 days late! Any delays that may result in additional fees are deducted from the reserve, reducing the chance of any additional out-of-pocket fees for you.

How fast will I receive my funds?
The Real Service promise means you get your money fast. All transactions are processed within two business days after receipt of all of the required documents. Fast not fast enough? Ask us about same-day service.

What happens if the sale doesn't close?
We purchase your commission with full recourse, which means you are responsible to repay us the amounts that have been advanced should the transaction be cancelled or otherwise fail to close as scheduled. To minimize the potential risk and safeguard your financial security, Real Commissions agents are protected by our unique substitution program. During the approval process you send us two pending contracts—the one we will advance on and a second to use as “backup,” just in case. Your advance is repaid from your next closing. Or, you can simply pay us from other funds.
